Caernarfon Town have named former player Andrew 'Lefty' Wright as manager for the 2026-27 season, with Lauren Bate as his assistant. The appointment follows a season where the club finished third-bottom in the North Wales Coast Women’s League, yet displayed promising performances and a number of talented players.
Wright, who helped establish the club in its early days, will oversee the squad’s preparation for the new campaign. Bate, a former player and coach, will support him in training and match planning.
Denbigh Town, former North Wales League champions and ex-Tier 2 competitors, also announced a summer transfer window. The club finished eighth of nine last season but has signed Loz Jones, Alicia Duke, Rosie O’Brien, Mabli Fitzgerald and Holly Lowe. Experienced Aled Davies remains in charge.
