Caernarfon Town delivered a stunning attacking performance to thrash Cambrian & Clydach 9-1 in the Premier League. The result lifts them to 5th in the table on 19 points after nine games.
Zak Clarke started the scoring in the 22nd minute, with Paulo Mendes adding a second five minutes later. The hosts then had to play over 55 minutes with ten men after C. Roberts was sent off in the 34th minute, but they extended their lead just before half-time through Joe Canavan.
Cambrian & Clydach also had a player dismissed at the same time as Roberts, and they lost another to a red card in the 55th minute. Caernarfon took full advantage, with Sion Bradley scoring a penalty a minute later. Alex Cieslewicz, Rob Sears, Nathan Edwards, Mike Jones and Offrande Zanzala all found the net in a rampant second half.
The victory follows a 5-0 win over Ammanford and a 3-0 defeat of Flint Town United in recent weeks. Next up is a trip to face Airbus UK, who are currently 10th, on 30 October.
