Caernarfon Town travel to the Bridge Meadow Stadium on Friday night looking to consolidate their top-five position in the Cymru Premier. They face a Haverfordwest County side that has lost its last three league games by a single goal.
With 23 points from 12 games, the Canaries are in strong form despite a narrow 1-0 home defeat to Barry Town last weekend. That result left them fifth in the table, with a goal difference of plus 21 from 35 goals scored. Their recent run includes a 9-1 victory over Cambrian & Clydach and a 5-0 away win at Ammanford.
Contrast in form
Haverfordwest County sit 12th with just 10 points and have scored only seven league goals all season. Their last outing was a 1-0 home loss to Flint Town United, part of a run of three straight 1-0 defeats. The previous meeting between these sides ended in a 2-2 draw at The Oval last November.
Caernarfon manager Richard Davies will likely look to his regular starters from recent weeks, including goalkeeper Callum Roberts and forward Ben Nash. The team's fixtures show a trip to Airbus UK follows at the end of the month. A full look at the squad is available on our squad page.
Kick-off in Pembrokeshire is set for 19:45 on Friday, 9 October.
